Everyone wears their best for the Happy New Year dance, even if their hat has become a part of last year’s fashion (it’ll be back in style again in 4,987 years).
On my third attempt to get some good photos at a holiday dance, I finally found some willing participants. It seems that many people there are afraid I’m going to sell the photos of them dressed up in their finest to National Geographic or otherwise profit from their likeness. However, after some initial rebuffing, I was eventually so overwhelmed with requests that I began to be mobbed. Not a bad problem to have (if you’re comfortable with mobs—no pitchforks in this case).
Gratzi. Lots of other good ones from that dance, but you’ll have to wait.
I just love this picture!
