On this edition of the Sears Portrait Studio, we present Lomilo Paul. Our friend Lomilo comes to us from nearby town Namalu where he is a shopkeeper. He has been a member of our congregation since 2008. Raised in a Catholic home, he recalls becoming a Christian truly at age fifteen. He drifted away from the church when cultural norms called him to herd his family’s cattle away from any established church. He was brought back to the church by a friend who had become Christian. Pray that the Lord would bless his generosity and concern for various members of our congregation. Pray that he would raise his new daughter, Lokol Josephine, to love Christ. Pray that his faith would not fail.

I painted a sheet of drywall dark grey. At home, I would use a roll of paper, but it’s not something that’s available in Uganda.
Hi Chris,
These are beautiful portraits. It may be silly, but I wonder what did you use for the backdrop?
